Markusklokker (Markusbells) is a handbell ensemble which was started in 2001 by BUrghard Wellmann, the organist of Markus Church in Oslo, Norway (see link to your left). Markusklokkers main group has at the moment 4 players. They perform at concerts, church services, nursing homes as well as shopping senters, weddings and private functions indoors as well as outdoors.

Markusklokker was started in 2001. On september 3rd we will celebrate our 10th aniversary. There will be a concert at Markus church saturday september 3rd at 4pm.

We will perform music for handbells in different settings. There will also be a seminar before the concert with people who one time or another have played together with Markusklokker. Organist Jarle Fagerheim will contribue with organ music and will also accompany Markusklokker in various pieces.

Duration of the concert is one hour. It is free of charge, donations are welcome.
